Sharon Smithers: My Newsletter Summer 2019
ANU Correspondent for the South East region
Dear All, Hope you are all enjoying the weather ?
Well, as i said before, or thought out loud.
Summer is genuinely quiet, but having said that,
Last week was at Margate Adult Ed on Wednesday morning with
Roy Eastland, Thursday Morning with Ashford Art Centre with Laura, Julia and
Anthony Stanton and other artist, in that evening was with Penny Jackson at Beach Creative,
with other artist, All artist did great work, paintings and drawing alike.
This week in Ramsgate on Tuesday Morning with Julia Rogers, and
at the Turner contemporay in the evening with Julia, onto Wednesday evening at
Deal Life Drawing at The Astor Theatre with Angelo, Emma and co.
That should be fun as always.
Thursday night at Class Art Whitstable with Keith Robinson.
From the 9th/16th at Roger Swan's in Littlebourne for two Tuesday evenings.
with one portrait class at The Art Academy London on 29th of July.
That is me so far, so it is not quiet.
Away in August, nothing booked then.
I must pay my respects to Barrie Novell who passed away recently,
he was a life model i worked with in London for a 2 day portrait class
in February, he will be greatly missed.
Finishing with Spencer Tunick who did an instalation in Essex on 29th of June,
which i unfortunately did not attend, but i think Kenneth Fahy was going, we may hear from him
in his Summer Newsletter soon,
Thanks for reading this and I hope you enjoyed my newsletter.
